Total disaster with utf encoding of nonlatin text on Macos 10.10

Latest 11.1.5 update on MacOS 10.10 resulted to be HUGE DOWNGRADE
TOTAL DISASTER!

BIG PROBLEMS WITH TEXT UTF-8 ENCODING displaying and importing!!!
Example: text in utf-8 cyrillic displays as ????????? signs, text in utf-8 cyrillic uploads in unknown signs
